Situated in the heart of the village, the inn offers a glimpse into the town's history with live music in the garden. the town boasts a proud historical background with a laid-back, hippie vibe post-mine closure. the unique setting provides an experience rich in culture and character.

The bunk room's curtains and mattress left something to be desired for a restful night's sleep.

the beds were cozy but brekky MIA, leaving me hungrier than a kiwi bird! Despite the dated room, the locals' warmth and the fluffy bathrobe made me feel like royalty. No screens for bugs, but guess what? the black-out curtains made me snooze like a baby! A hidden gem with top-notch hospitality-can't wait to return.
